I bought this camera in January 2018, and loved using it. Photo quality was great, nice balance of camera weight and features. I replaced my previous SLR with this because I was tired of carrying extra lenses, etc. All was fine until I'd had it 3 years, when it decided to quit. I sent it to a Sony recommended authorized service center, who diagnosed it as a failed lens assembly. BUT . . . THEY DIDN"T HAVE THE PART, AND SONY NO LONGER HAS THE PART! I then tried a second authorized repair shop in case they had the part in their stock - no luck! So I'm out the money that I paid for a camera that I loved after only 3 years' use because of Sony's inability to adequately support their product.

Purchased recently, waiting to apply for the cashback which for some reason you have to wait 30 days! Anyway I intend this camera to replace my other Dslr camera for general use. So far its impressive but even as a fairly competent photographer its quite complicated. It handles well and would be fine for most professional photography.

When I don’t want to worry about changing lens this is the camera I take with me. It feels comfortable in my hand and has an array of useful features including it’s very high shutter speed of 1/32,000 which makes it possible to shoot with the lens wide open at f2.8 in bright conditions. The aperture ring is a nice touch. It’s very much a tool for videography as well as photography. It would have been nice if there was a vertical grip for the camera. 4K videos look fantastic. The contrast based AF works well for general photography but does not have the focusing consistency with some moving subjects.

I have owned this camera for 5 years and it never ceases to amaze me. I am a professional and I have DSLRs with better resolution, a pocketsize LX100 that is a fun tool, but this camera still blows my mind every once in a while on what it can do with such a small sensor, and for video/vlogging it's top notch. You have to work hard to take a bad picture with this camera. I still haven't figured out everything it can do with slow motion and I love how it feels in my hand. And, my 10-year-old granddaughter takes awesome pictures with it. If I'm not on a job this is my go to for hiking, camping and vacations. The camera's drawbacks are mostly in the menu design. It could be better. Oh, it's built like a tank. When it's in your hand you know you are going to create a picture not click a snapshot.

I spent some time looking for a camera that would give me consistent excellent images. I was aware that I have limitations technically as I have had a stroke. The RX10ii has exceeded my expectations,allowing me to try different styles of photography.

Bought this bridge camera as fed up with changing lenses on previous SLR digital Cannon. Many photographers buy SLR's with large telephoto's and wide angle lenses which are hardly ever used or necessary and are bulky expensive and heavy to carry around. Changing lenses can also become a pain. I bought the Sony RX10 ii instead of the iii or iv as i am not a fan of touch screen operation and at £780 after cashback a great price for a quality camera. The still pictures and video on this camera are excellent and as a fairly light weight all in one camera you will struggle to find a worthy competitor unless you pay well over £1200.

J'ai dû remplacer mon R1 qui n'en pouvait plus, j'ai choisi le RX10 II. Voici mon bilan après une quinzaine de jours d'utilisation (le sondage Sony arrive trop tôt !). Je n'utilise pas les fonctions spéciales (genre "détection de sourire", "effet peau douce"...) et je fais beaucoup de portraits. Bons points : - excellente optique - qualité des matériaux - petit écran supérieur LCD très pratique pour les infos basiques (batterie, nombre de photos...) - présence de connecteur pour un flash extérieur - qualité des écrans, le grand comme celui du viseur (finesse d'affichage) - bague de diaphragme très lisible, avec des crans francs Mauvais points : - le gros point noir pour moi est la mobilité de l'écran : la rotule du R1 était vraiment formidable, là je me trouve coincée pour des photos que je prends régulièrement en biais, par dessus ou par dessous. L'écran du R1 était petit mais faisait tout à fait son office, pour le cadrage et les infos de base. Et quel confort pour la prise de vue dans tous les sens ! J'en pleure encore de l'avoir perdu... - l'écran permute vers le viseur beaucoup trop facilement à cause de son capteur (je tiens souvent l'appareil contre mon ventre en visant par le dessus, les sujets se rendent moins compte qu'ils sont photographiés), il faudrait que la distance de détection soit inférieure à la taille de l'écran, ou un bouton physique. Du coup j'ai désactivé la fonction de switch écran/viseur et il faut passer par le menu à chaque fois pour reprendre le viseur... - manque de boutons d'accès direct, ceux de mon R1 me manquent terriblement à chaque photo (accès direct et sans menu intermédiaire à la mise au point, au flash, à la balance des blancs, aux isos...) avec leur réglage à la molette si pratique. - la housse prévue pour l'appareil est vraiment nulle (non solidaire de l'appareil, il faut l'ôter entièrement à chaque prise et on ne sait pas quoi en faire). MegaGear fait de chouettes housses mais pour les mark III et IV (le mark II flotte dedans). Là encore, le R1 avait une super housse. - en 2020 on n'a toujours pas de bouchon d'objectif avec lien pour le tenir solidaire de l'appareil et éviter les pertes !!!! - balance des blancs option tungstène : je n'ai pas compris, les photos (avec ou sans flash) sont toutes bleues... Du coup je vais devoir me faire un mode personnalisé pour toutes les photos d'intérieur en éclairage électrique... :-/ - logique du menu pas très intuitive : les nécessités de base sont loin dans le menu. - flash surpuissant, je n'ai pas réussi à faire de bonnes photos au flash même en réduisant le plus possible sa puissance, du coup pour l'instant j'évite de l'utiliser. Il n'a pas l'air de sortir tout seul quand c'est nécessaire, alors que la fonction existait sur le R1. En comparaison un flash extérieur marche bien mieux, mais il est compliqué à trimballer à chaque fois. - l'option vidéo est loin des options P et A sur la mollette de réglage : j'aurais voulu switcher beaucoup plus rapidement entre photo et vidéo (ou alors pouvoir prendre des photos en cours de vidéo).

Die "alte RX10 II" war nach 3.000 Bildern und 3,5 Jahren nicht mehr nutzbar, denn die Schaltwippe W - T und ON/Off war defekt. Da ich mit der Bildqualität sehr zufrieden war habe ich sie mit gleichem Model ersetzt.

Enjoyable camera to use that rewards with lovely images. Love the 2.8 aperture throughout. Only two grips - it's very slow to turn on, and connecting to a smartphone isn't easy or intuitive.

Eigentlich hatte ich ein lichtstarkes Objektiv für meine Spiegelreflexkamera gesucht, fand dann aber erst die RX100er Serie, die mir zu wenig Brennweite hatte. Die RX10M2 ist für mich genau richtig. Viele Tests berücksichtigen nicht die 1000fps. Dabei ist das eins der Keyfeatures. Alles habe ich schon in den ersten zwei Wochen benutzt und bin begeistert.

Die RX10 M2 ist eine so vielseitige Kamera, dass sie für fast jede Situation benutzt werden kann. Tier-, Portrait-, Landschaft-, Sportfotografie sind überhaupt kein Problem. Die Qualität des durchgehend Blende 2,8 - 24-200mm Objektivs ist genial. Noch fantastischer werden die Möglichkeiten durch die Erweiterung von Apps. Zeitrafferaufnahmen (incl. Zoomfunktion ins Bild) oder Sportaufnahmen (Zeitlupe, wo der Akteur mehrmals im Bild ist), sehen einfach nur atemberaubend aus und sind kinderleicht umzusetzen. Kurz und knapp: DIE perfekte Kamera für unterwegs mit Fotos auf sehr hohem Niveau.

Vor 2 Wochen gekauft. 1 Woche im Bayerischen Wald gewesen auf einer Motorrad Tour. Die Kamera hat meine Erwartungen mehr als übertroffen. Ob Foto oder Video. Ich persönlich kann die Kamera nur weiterempfehlen.

I bought my first RX10 ii as a handy b-roll video camera for my much larger (and more expensive) Sony EX1R video cameras, but I very quickly realised the image quality of the RX10 ii was far superior to that of the older cameras. The video codec proved far easier to colour correct too. Very soon, I decided I would use two RX10's so that both produced closely matched colours and quality. At about this time, Sony released the RX10 iii with a 600mm (equivalent) zoom, so I was initially tempted to go for that until I discovered it didn't have a built in ND filter. As I shoot most of my footage in s-log2, the built-in ND is virtually essential because of the increased ISO setting, so I opted for another RX10 ii. It's very easy to use, and image quality for both video and stills is excellent. Another big plus for me is the constant f2.8 lens. A big drawback, however, is the zoom. There is a hugely pronounced kick in the zoom which is really annoying. Even with image stabilisation on, the kick is still apparent. It's so bad that I returned the first camera that was sent to me, thinking it was a fault, but the replacement was just the same, so I decided to stick with it. The camera is so good in nearly every other way, that I decided to put up with the kick in the zoom. Fortunately, the image stabilisation in Final Cut Pro X will usually take the kick out, but it's a pity Sony couldn't. Of course, the zoom kick doesn't apply when you're shooting still pictures, so I guess this is why Sony allowed it to stay. Overall though, I'm absolutely delighted with the RX10 mk ii. I will only replace the two I have when a similarly priced (and sized) camera is available which will shoot 4K video at 50 or 60 frames per second.

Two weeks since purchase: the camera is superb with unmatched features, build and performance but the "instructions" are appalling. The camera settings are so numerous that Sony must have decided there were too many to describe their access. Time on the net and/or YouTube is essential and well worth it.

Ich kannte das Vorgängermodell und muß sagen, die RX10MK2 legt in der Funktionalität deutlich zu, so daß ein Profi auch befriedigt sein kann. Die Qualität der Aufnahmen (Foto und Film) steht den professionelle Geräten kaum nach und kann sich in vielen Bereichen durchaus vergleichen.

Nach dem ich schon Kameras der Marke Sony besitze, ollte es klar wieder eine NEUE von Sony sein. Ich habe viel im Internet verglichen und bin zum Schluss dann bei der RX10M2 geblieben. Es sollte eine Kamera werden die 4K Videos kann und Photos in sehr guter Qualtät macht. Da ich viel in der Natur beim Bergsteigen ect. unterwegs bin sollte es keine mit Wechselobjektiven werden, da ich keine Lust habe diese immer mit zu schleppen. Sie sollte Staub und Feuchtigkeitsgeschützt sein, und natürlich nicht zu schwer. Was ich an der RX10M2 besonders mag? + 1.0 Zoll Exmor RS CMOS Sensor sorgt auch für eine XAVC S Video-Aufnahmemöglichkeit in 4K und hat bei Photos eine sehr gute Bildqualität + ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* 24-200 Millimeter mit einer durchgehenden Blende von 2.8 + Der Blendenring der RX10 ist entklickbar, wodurch wie bei professionellen manuelle Blendenübergänge möglich sind + Integrierter ND Filter + Slow-Motion-Fähigkeiten bei Video mit 40 Fach Zeitlupe + Staub und Feuchtigkeitsschutz mit hochwertiger Verarbeitung/​Magnesiumgehäuse + Schneller Verschluss für Belichtungszeiten von nur 1/32.000 Sekunde + Sehr kompaktes Kameragehäuse + Hochauflösendes und nach oben sowie unten schwenkbares 3,0" Display mit 1,23 Mio Subpixel + Zweites Kontrolldisplay auf der Oberseite vorhanden (dieses lässt sich zudem beleuchten) + Hochauflösender, großer und heller elektronischer Sucher (2,36 Millionen Subpixel) + Effektiver optischer Bildstabilisator + Schneller Autofokus, sehr kurze Auslöseverzögerung + Viele Tasten/Einstellräder lassen sich äußerst umfangreich individualisieren + Digitale Wasserwaage vorhanden + Guter Makro-Modus (ab ca. 3cm Motivabstand) + Panoramamodus mit hoher Auflösung + Schneller und treffsicherer Autofokus auch im Videomodus + WLAN und NFC zur drahtlosen Datenübertragung vorhanden + Auch die PlayMemories Apps, die ich schon bei der HX400V nutze, lassen sich hier aufspielen. GPS oder einen Touchdisplay zum Drehen vermisse ich bis jetzt nicht, da ich viel mit dem Sucher arbeite und bei der HX400V die GPS Funktion fast nie genutzt habe. ls Negativ kann ich bis jetzt nur die etwas kurze Akkulaufzeit nennen. Da sollte man sich auf jeden Fall einen zweiten oder dritten Akku besorgen. Auch finde ich den Tragegurt etwas unpraktisch, weshalb ich mir gleich einen anderen mitbestellt habe. Eine Gegenlichtblende war bei der Kamera mit dabei. Zum Schutz der Linse sollte man sich noch einen UV Schutzfilter besorgen und auch für das Display eine Folie. Dabei aber auf gute Qualität achten, dann hat man länger was davon. Die Einstellräder lassen sich sehr gut bedienen und auch die Anordnung der Schalter und Knöpfe ist sehr gut geregelt. Wie sie sich im Alltag und der Natur draußen richtig schlägt, muss sie im Laufe des nächsten Jahres zeigen. Habe aber bis heute keine schlechte Erfahrungen mit Sony gemacht. Ob man bereit ist das Geld aus zu geben? Das muss jeder für sich entscheiden. Den Preis ist sie auf jeden Fall Wert.

Ich hatte schon das Vorgängermodell und bin jetzt wieder voll Begeisterung von der neuen RX10 Mark2. Die neuen Möglichkeiten - Highspeed mit 1000 Bilder/s - oder die 4K-Filmaufnahmen sind wahre Highlights. Aber auch mehrere interne Verbesserungen konnte ich gegenüber dem ersten Modell feststellen. Die Qualität der Bilder ist über jede Kritik erhaben und die unzähligen Einstellmöglichkeiten unterstützen meine kreaktiven Ideen.Das zusätzliche Funktionen per App erworben werden können, erschließt mir noch neue Möglichkeiten. Diese Kamera kann ich jedem ernsthaften Amateur uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die einzige Funktion, die ich bei meinen Reisen sehr vermisse, ist eine GPS Aufzeichnung.

Die Kamera macht hochwertigere Eindruck als manche DSLR die schon als Body deutlich teuerer sind. Mit etwas Übung bekommt man Bilder die wirklich sehen lassen. Als nächste Schritt würde empfehlen APS-C Sensor in Bridge Kamera einpacken, lässt vielleicht aber schwer realisieren.

J ai acheté cet appareil après avoir lu beaucoup d avis et je n n' En suis pas déçu., si je ne met pas 5 étoiles c est à cause de la mise au point qui aurait pu être mieux et le manque du tactile sur l écran. Je l' utilise à 80% pour la vidéo. Globalement c est un très bon appareil.

J'ai attendu de l'avoir bien essayé avant de donner mon avis les plus : - L'optique est formidable, très lumineuse et très bien stabilisée. - L'appareil est imposant mais très raisonnable comparé à un réflex, il tient bien en main et se range dans un sac de moyenne taille. - La qualité vidéo est redoutable. La mise au point rapide, ne m'a fait qu'une seule fois défaut sur une vidéo à grande vitesse. - La batterie permet de se laisser aller à une balade de 170 photos + 20 minutes de vidéo avec 38% de charge au retour. - Beaucoup de fonctions et paramétrages possibles. - Télécommande par smartphone, et transfert des photos vers smartphone. Les moins : - En faible lumière, le réglage tout automatique fait de drôles de choix de coloration (sous éclairage public, sans flash par exemple) - Le menu n'est pas toujours très intuitif, et il faut souvent parcourir les menus de longues secondes (voir minutes) pour trouver ce qu'on cherche. - L’intérêt de programmes qui nécessitent d'être connecté pour fonctionner m'échappe, surtout pour un appareil passe partout et donc loin de bornes WIFI ! - pas de chargeur externe ! - Le prix En conclusion : Un très bon appareil, excellent en vidéo, très bien en photo. Très polyvalent dans un encombrement qui permet de l'emporter facilement en balade.

Very good Bridge Compact camera. I purchased the camera for still photography as it is of a good light weight design. As I ware spectacles I find the electronic viewfinder very good, particularly in low light situations.
