This is my third Cyber-shot camera. I am very pleased with the format. Due to it's size I can always have it in my trouser pocket. The resolution is is at times better than my iPhone

UNFORTUNATELY, DISSAPOINTED

I was very excited when I first got this camera. I set it up right away, took some pics around the house and out at the park to test it out. Seemed to work fine. Couldn't wait to use it on our summer vacation, which was actually why we'd bought it for in the first place. But, when the moment of truth came it was definately not what I expected. Doesn't capture movement any better. Although, it does capture nice pics when you're out in broad daylight. Nonetheless, at someplaces, like at the aquarium the pics came out dark (eventhough the flash was on) and also, very out of focus. I felt it let me down, I was unable to take good-looking pics of the shark tank...that was a real bummer. Another thing about the camera is that when I'm looking at the pics I've taken this message appears on a blue screen "cannot display file" for some pics. Eventhough when I hook it up to the computer all the pics are in fact in the card. I also have to say that I used to have another model of a sony camera and it had a lot of the same issues. I went ahead with Sony once again because I liked to believe it's a brand I could trust. It's all very dissappointing

Die Sony Cyber Shot ist perfekt für Urlaubsfotos oder für besondere Momente. Seit Jahren besitze ich die DSC W320. Nun habe ich mich für die DSC W830 entschieden, da sie Videos in HD aufnehmen kann. Die Bildqualität ist hervorragend. TOP Funktionen für kleine Spielereien. Sehr zum empfehlen !!!

Bonjour, acheté en 2018, servi en 2019 en voyage en Afrique ok compact nickel simple à utiliser. N'a pas servi depuis le covid, je repars en voyage en Amérique le 14 Août, la batterie ne charge plus, j'en ai racheté une pour 22€, cela ne fonctionne toujours pas. Le sav Leclerc me demande 30€ d'acompte sur réparation pour lesquels ils sont plus que pessimistes ... Je trouve lamentable cet achat de 119€ (qui a fonctionné 1 an) qu'on me propose de jeter à ce jour car les réparations ne valent pas le coup...je vous laisse prendre note de ce constat, moi fidèle client sony tv, barre de son...pour lesquels je suis très satisfait...mais ma déception est totale pour cet appareil photo ! Dans l'attente de vous lire. Cordialement.

Wer mal eben schnell ein Foto machen will ohne groß in Menüs rumzudaddeln ist mit dieser Kamera gut bedient. Einschalten, auslösen, fertig. Wer sich intensiver mit ihr befasst, kann noch ein paar Gimmicks entdecken, aber als "immer dabei Kamera" ist sie ideal und passt in jede Hemdtasche.

Un peu déçu, prise de vue difficile pour personne en mouvement (coureur = flou). Durée entre deux photos trop longue. Tout de même satisfait car très bon rapport qualité prix et très belle définition pour agrandissements. Appareil très léger et peu encombrant toujours avec soi. Est-il mieux qu'un smarphone ? C'est un appareil photo.

Der Automatikfocus ist zu gering. Bei Aufnahmen im Abstand von 1-2 m vom Objekt ist mit Zoom nichts mehr zu machen. Alles verschwommen. Mit meiner alten Kamera Cannon PowerShot A480 habe ich mit weniger Einstellmöglichkeiten wesentlich bessere Bilder aufnehmen können. Ausserdem ist die Bedienungsanleitung sehr dünn. Man kann nur durch Ausprobieren auf eine einigermassen gutes Ergebnis konmmen.

Compact camera with good zoom

Bought this to replace a much older model of the Sony Cybershot which was great. Nice and compact (fits easily into small handbag for nights out) easy to use with great zoom. Prospective buyers should be aware that it is not possible to take lots of photos quickly, as on a mobile, as it takes a few seconds for the camera to ready itself again. Disappointed it didn't come with a memory card supplied (the previous model did), but luckily the memory card, battery and cable from the previous model were also usable on this one!

Relatively easy to use. Lightweight and compact. Zoom very good. Only criticism is the "on" button which is very small and doesn't always work at the first attempt. Would perhaps be better if it was bigger and slightly raised.

Its compact and light and easy to use. Yes maybe the on/off button is a bit small but then the whole camera is compact. I wanted something to go in my pocket for those odd mlments when something happens, a dog moment, a scene or a special view. I wanted a camera that held its charge, that worked when I took it out of my pocket after a few days, had a zoom and one that I could rely on, this answers that. Delighted with the results.

Fits easily into your pocket and very easy to use. I take it with me when out walking. Wish you could get a more powerful zoom lens on a camera this size, but the one it has is good enough for most photos.

I bought this a month ago, for carrying along for better quality of photo than handphones. It is very good indeed and happy about the purchase. There is one minus point is there is a delay of a moment between next shot , with display on.

Bought to replace a damaged Fuji F10. I like the improved resolution, but the on/off button is ridiculously fiddly and everything is very slow - displaying images, zoom control, taking the picture and storing it (although this last could be down to the increased resolution). Action shots are going to be much trickier with this compared to the Fuji.

Sehr kleine, gute Kamera mit großem optischem Zoom

Die Kamera ist sehr klein und passt daher in eine Hosentasche. Der Zoom-Bereich (25-200 mm KB) ist sehr groß. Die Qualiät der Fotos (Schärfe, Farbwiedergabe) ist ausreichend gut, wenn man die Fotos gezielt etwas unterbelichtet (-1.0 EV). Die Tasten sind auf Grund der geringen Größe natürrlich recht klein, was die Bedienung etwas erschwert, wenn man große Finger hat. Der einzige, wirkliche Nachteil ist das schlechte Display, an Hand dessen man nicht erkennen kann, ob ein Foto gut geworden ist oder nicht.
