I bought this camera a month ago and I can't rate it high enough I'm an ex pro photographer and I bought it so I didn't have to take my SLR kit out every time as I'm now in a wheelchair you can shoot in full auto or fully manual and everything in between the rear screen is clear and if you've no camera experience you'll have no problems picking it up and taking your first pictures so buy in confidence and enjoy

Ich hatte kurzfristig (binnen 10 Tage) eine Kamera benötigt - und diese war bei Amazon das einzig verfügbare Modell (von den für mich interessanten 20 Stk.). Hervorragend ist der Bildstabilisator - auch bei starken Zoom kaum ein wackeln. Der Auslöser ist oft mal etwas verzögert - und die Kamera hat gelegentlich Probleme mit dem Fokussieren. Toll ist die Möglichkeit von Panoramaaufnahmen (180°) - jedoch ausschließlich im Querformat von links nach rechts. Sicher gibt es die Möglichkeit einzustellen, welcher Bereich fokussiert werden soll und dass nach diesem die Einstellungen (Blende, ...) gemacht werden - aber dazu müsste man sich eingehend mit dieser beschäftigen. Das hauptsächliche Bedienelement ist sehr pfrimelig & filigran - für mich schwierig zu bedienen. Das Display ist recht empfindlich auf Kratzer. Und die PC-Software empfinde ich als Armutszeugnis, wäre vor 15 Jahren ok gewesen. Sie hat für mich ihren Zweck erfüllt, würde sie aber NICHT empfehlen

I bought this camera last year, it almost immediately went into a fault stating that I needed to turn it off and turn on again, this I have done many times but the fault persists and the camera is therefore useless. I have tried to find the cure on line but all I get is instructions to turn off and on again. I have also tried to find an engineer capable of repairing it but all I get is throw it away and buy another. NO I WOULD DEFINITLY ADVISE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAMERA

Appareil ayant passé la garantie seulement de 3 mois avec un problème récurrent sur tous les modèles cybershot "mettre l'appareil fors et sous tension", problème avec l'objectif à l'ouverture, plus de zoom... Bref, appareil acheté 209 euros, devis proposé 30 euros pour une réparation à au moins 155 euros.... ça s'appelle de l'obsolescence programmée... Je boycotterai donc cette marque et vous conseille d'en faire autant... Aucun geste commercial bien entendu... Ce fut un bon appareil, cadeau de Noël, pendant deux ans...qui satisfaisait ma fille, vous imaginez sa déception... La marque n'est plus à la hauteur

We recently took possession of this camera from our son, who we originally bought it for, but he never really used it. Being a lover of traditional photography, but not wanting to own and use a more complex SLR with all the lenses and equipment, we are delighted to have this in our possession. Easy to use, simple settings, but with great results. We mainly leave it on auto, but never get disappointed with the quality of the photos. We still use our phone a lot, but on days out and special events, we leave home without this camera.

Despite entire days spent on the User Guide and following the steps meticulously, there is no connection whatsoever possible between my smartphone and the camera. This is the only finction that made me buy this camera, so it's going back to the shop for another model of a very different brand. No SONY ever again into my house.

Schon vor einiger Zeit gekauft und bis Heute den Kauf nicht bereut. Vielfältige Einstellmöglichkeiten, von manueller Einstellung bis zu intelligenter Automatik ist alles vorhanden und macht sie als "Reisekamera" ideal. Der eingebaute Blitz ist etwas schwach, aber dafür hat sie ja den Blitzschuh. Was ich manchmal vermisse ist ein richtiger Sucher. Den kann man zwar nachrüsten, aber das ist nicht ideal. Etwas fummelig sind auch die Taster/Schalter, hier muss nicht alles Mini sein, es geht auch anders. Doch insgesamt eine sehr gute kleine Kamera, an der es kaum etwas auszusetzen gibt.

Používám krátce. Přešel jsem z Nikon 3100 na menší kompaktnější fotáček. Ovládání, velikost, jednoduchost to vše je OK. I za dobrého světla je ve fotkách hodně šumu (ISO 100). Jsem zklamaný.

A lovely camera

Bought as a gift, I was thrilled with it. I have not used a Sony before. I have had quite a few cameras in my time, and I use them to take photos to paint, so carry them always. This one is a lovely one. I am not one to look at instructions, and follow to the letter, I prefer to learn as I go along. There is always something surprising to learn! The photo quality is great and I have taken photos of the moon which I have not been able to do before.....not with the clarity I get with the Sony. I have used the video but not much so, as far as that is concerned, it seems fine....so far. One drawback I found ( as soon as I saw the camera) was not being able to look through a lens, as well as having the screen to look at. I have always much preferred to take pics this way and if it is sunny, it can block a lot of the glare out. Also, the battery 'door', with the 'open and shut' switch is a bit of a faff. A couple of times I thought I had closed it and it hadnt quite 'caught' so it just flipped open. Not great for people with dexterity issues. My husband bought this for me to save me keep recharging AA batteries! The batteries in this one last a lot longer. All in all, so far, I am VERY happy with this . And am enjoying finding out all the little nuances that come with it.

J'ai cet appareil photo depuis deux semaines et hormis la prise de photo en automatique a partir des commandes situées sur l'appareil, toutes les possibilités proposées (connexion Wifi, Commande à partir d'un smartphone, etc.) sont très compliquées à mettre en œuvre. J'ai réussi la connexion Wifi mais à part cela rien ne fonctionne ni à partir de mon smartphone ni avec une tablette. Il manque toujours une compatibilité ou une application. En deux mots, cela me semble trop compliqué pour être utilisé au quotidien. Finalement, comme avec mon ancien appareil Canon, je vais utiliser cette merveille de technologie embarqué avec un câble pour copié mes photos. Dommage (certainement une plus valus a l'achat bien inutile)

I was looking for a second camera, in addition to my DSLR, and I found the Sony HX60. It's cheap, small, with lots of extra features for setting up. It is a good compromise between technology and quality. Can be used spontaneously on the go!

Seit ein paar Jahren habe ich dieses Modell intensiv in Benutzung und bin im Grunde sehr zufrieden. Die Bildstabilisierung gerade bei Videos ist besser als alles, was ich zuvor hatte. In manchen Situationen ist der Autofokus nicht so zuverlässig, wie ich ihn gerne hätte (besonders bei Scheinwerfern auf einer Bühne). Mit ausreichend Zeit kann man manuelle Einstellungen vornehmen, aber oft ist diese nicht da. Die Fotos sind scharf und qualitativ gut. Vorteil vor einer Handykamera sind auf jeden Fall die Bildstabilisierung, das Objektiv mit einem erstaunlichen Zoom und die anderen Möglichkeiten, die die Kamera bietet. Für mich entscheidend war auch das GPS, das vernünftig arbeitet. Auch die Akkus reichen weit. Ich habe zeitweise 20.000 Aufnahmen pro Jahr gemacht.

I bought it thinking I could take pictures and transfer them to my tablet through the wifi connection on the camera but I could never find the right app to use with my android tablet. Also I cannot download any videos onto my laptop except using the sony website and then I cannot find a way of sending them onto friends.I have messed around and looked on the sony website but get stuck at the same stage as I cannot find the appropriate app. Frustrated and disappointed.To cap it all, the button to press when you want to take movies is just where you hold the camera so you end up filming things you do not want

Such a lovely camera with great results. I bought the camera to replace my much trusted WX350 when it stopped working. The bought replacement was much better. I used the SD card to transfer photos onto the laptop as the cable clip was quite fragile - as was the original camera's. I could not do it remotely as it seemed only 1 laptop could speak to camera. After '364 days' the new slot wouldn't take SD. The fragility of the process caused the whole camera to fail. I returned camera to John Lewis and I was sent a new camera as replacement. I am very happy with the result but I now use cable as my husband uses the Bluetooth to transfer his photos as we can only get it to 'speak' to 1 device.

Voilà bien 1 an que j'ai ce modèle et j'en suis très satisfait. Un peu plus gros qu'un HX90, il a une meilleur prise en main à mon sens, un côté vintage qui se marie bien avec l'étui dédié, une correction d'ouverture, il peut être manuel avec priorité vitesse ou ouverture et surtout ce qui se fait rare une griffe porte flash ce qui a achevé de me séduire, sachant que les flashs incorporés sont ridiculement faible. Là, avec celui que je me suis acheté l'éclairage est 3 à 4 fois plus important et en plus avec mesure TTL en automatique ou programme. Un seul regret que le dos ne soit pas au moins pivotant, mais fixe, il aurait été parfait. Très bonnes photos avec un rendu des couleur très bons. 20 millions de pixel ce qui permet des bons recadrages. A noter que l'appareil fait d'initiative des recadrages de portrait très intéressant. Attention en zoom maxi ça bouge un peu, mais c'est pareil pour tous. Note : j'ai mis 1 * pour l'audio car je ne m'en sers pas

Die Kamera macht richtig tolle Bilder, wie wir in diversen Urlauben bereits erfahren konnten. Sehr scharf und kontrastreich, auch bei schlechteren Lichtverhältnissen. Vor allem der Zoom begeistert total mit seinen Möglichkeiten, auch weiter entfernte Objekte klar darzustellen. Viele Kameraeinstellungen sind möglich. Auch die Panorama- und Filmfunktion sind wirklich gut. Was ärgerlich war, dass die Kamera im letzten Urlaub gestreikt hat und mit herausgefahrenem Objektiv auf nichts mehr reagierte. Mit etwas Aufwand konnte das Objektiv wieder zurück gefahren werden. Die Reparatur beim zentralen Service war zwar schnell, unkompliziert und kostenlos, da noch in der Garantiezeit, aber ich hoffe, das kehrt nicht wieder, sonst muss ich es wohl künftig selbst bezahlen. Zumindest war dieser Makel der Kamera beim Service offenbar nur zu gut bekannt. Deshalb auch nur 4 Punkte statt 5, da die Kamera ansonsten wirklich klasse ist.

Bought this product to replace my hx-90 which packed up ( power supply problem ). Build quality better more solid. only downside not having no view finder?. picture results excellent by the very good 30 x zoom lens. images easily transferred to my Sony mobile via wi-fi featured in camera. highly recommended.

2018 gekauft, sehr viele gute Bilder gemacht. Leider gab es im Frühjahr 2020 einen Defekt am Objektiv, der zum Totalausfall führte. Gerade noch innerhalb der Gewährleistung. Reparatur daher kostenlos. Im Winter 2020 ist der Blitz explodiert. Wegen Lockdown nicht zur Reparatur gegeben. Im September 2021 erneuter Totalausfall. Habe mir jetzt den Nachfolger HX99 zugelegt und hoffe auf längere Nutzung.

Customer care is a disaster

This came as a review for a new Sony product. However the camera should be well over a year if not longer. It has since been replaced with a Kodak- I wond be buying Sony again and definitely don’t buy one from Argos (I suppose any retailer selling a Sony camera would probably be in the same boat) because if there is any issue they are not replaced you have to send to the UK for repairs.

Leider ist das Objektiv anscheinend sehr empfindlich, auf jeden Fall musste ich die Kamera innerhalb der Garantiezeit zur Reparatur einschicken. Das war allerdings absolut in Ordnung, die Kamera kam sehr schnell geheilt wieder zurück. Kundendienst ist top. Was ich allerdings sehr mangelhaft finde ist die Klappe die das Akku und die Karte verschliesst, die hält leider nicht gut. Ich behelfe mir mit einem Klebestreifen. Ansonsten finde ich die Kamera absolut super und kann sie durchaus empfehlen.
