Si vous ne devez avoir qu'un seul objectif avec un A6xxx, ce serait celui-ci. Equivalent à un 35mm en FF, cet objectif a à la fois un excellent piqué et un bokeh très doux. Sa légèreté et son faible encombrement en font une solution idéale pour le reportage discret. Un objectif à tout faire.

Beautiful lens this - just way too expensive for what it is. I'd go for the 35mm f1.8 & the 85mm f 1.8 & you'd be all set. Get a 10-18mm if you want super wide.

Nutze das Objektiv an einer Sony ILCE 6000 für Alltagsaufnahmen. Mit weniger als 600 Gramm für Objektiv und Kamera verfügt man über eine vielseitige und hochwertige Ausrüstung, die viel Spaß macht. Sehr gut finde ich die DMF-Möglichkeit, um gemeinsam mit der hohen Lichtstärke mit der Unschärfe zu arbeiten. Auch die leichte Makrofunktion bietet interessante Möglichkeiten. Abbildungsleistung, Kontrast und Farbtreue sind sehr gut. Man muss sich als Hobbyfotograf erst mal einarbeiten um die gebotenen Möglichkeiten auszureizen. Über eine hohe Dauerhaftigkeit würde ich mich freuen. Die Garantieverlängerung von Sony nach Regisrierung spricht dafür.

My go to prime lens when out being a tourist or in low light situations, it has that something special even though it is not the sharpest on my A6500. It is worth the money I have found as it spends most of the time on the camera while travelling. Photo shot at night with in camera image stacking feature.

On epu lui reprocher l'absence de stabilisation, qui aurait été un plus sur les boîtiers non stabilisés comme le A6000, même à cette ouverture

Ich habe das Objektiv an einer a6500 betrieben, sehr gute Abbildungsleistung. Ausschlaggebend war die hohe Lichtstärke von 1,8, da ich oft im Dämmerlicht oder nachts Aufnahmen mache und so brauche ich kein Stativ. Schön ist auch die geringe Größe. Was dem Objektiv fehlt: Ein AF/MF-Umschalter OSS (Bildstabilisator) Gegenlichtblende sehr ungünstig konstruiert. Ersatz super-teuer

Pricey but definitely worth it! It does everything for you. The depth of field is gorgeous! (But if you don't like a strong depth of field it might not be right for you) The F1.8 is just amazing for video in a low light environment. Makes all portraits sharp and clean so far, can't wait to test it on landscapes. For any constructive feedback: physically smaller would be grandly appreciated.

Zwei für mich negative Punkte gibt es: 1. Die Schärfe im Zentrum ist gut, fällt jedoch zum Rand hin deutlich ab. Man sieht auch, dass die Fokus"ebene" gekrümmt ist und am Rand näher ist als in der Mitte, was die Unschärfe erklärt. 2. Der schwarze Ring mit der Typbezeichnung um die Frontlinse ist im Infraroten nicht schwarz. Verwendet man ein IR-Filter vor dem Objektiv spiegelt sich der Ring im Filter und ist später auf dem Bild deutlich sichtbar. Das Objektiv ist daher dafür unbrauchbar. Der Rest entspricht dem, was ich von einen Objektiv dieser Preisklasse erwarte.

Avec admiration j'ai toujours regardé le SOny RX1 mk 2 avec objectif Zeiss 35mm F2 et j'ai cherché un objectif pour mon A6300 qui pourrait me donner a peut près les mêmes résultats en APS-C . Et voilà je l'ai trouvé! Des superbes photos et uns ouverture max de 1.8 ( en APS-C 2.8) Je suis ravi!

Un très bon objectif avec beaucoup de "caractère" : des couleurs vives, un excellent micro-contraste, un fort piqué au centre à pleine ouverture (bien qu'un peu mou dans les angles), et surtout, une focale "naturelle" (équivalente à un 35mm Full Frame) passe-partout, et une ouverture maximale vraiment pratique en cas de faible luminosité. Petit plus : la distance minimale de mise-au-point de 17cm, qui permet de faire des photos proches de ce qu'on obtiendrait avec un objectif macro. Idéal pour ceux qui aiment notamment photographier des fleurs, des insectes, des objets, ou encore pour les amoureux de la photo de nourriture. Avec cet objectif de haute qualité et très polyvalent, vous serez certain de tirer le meilleur de votre appareil Sony de format APS-C.

The sel24f18z is a top quality lens it feels solid and well made. I take photos using the RAW setting and find photos taken with this lens come straight from the camera looking sharp and vibrant they need very little doing to them. Set the camera to JPG and you get the same sharp vibrant photos that show every detail without having to do anything to them. It's also an excellent lens for closeups of flowers etc, the subject is sharp with a nice out of focus background.

Ich benütze das Objektiv nun seit ca. 2 Jahren und bin noch immer hoch zufrieden. Hohe Lichtstärke und Bildqualität erlauben Innenaufnahmen von Personen oder z.B. Kirchen zu vollster Zufriedenheit. Zudem ist das Objektiv an meiner NEX 6 sehr handlich.

Ich besitze das Objektiv jetzt mehr als zwei Jahre, verwende es an der NEX 7 und habe es wirklich schätzen gelernt. Immer, wenn ich bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen und möglicht unerkannt fotografieren möchte, kommt das Objektiv zum Einsatz. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist gerechtfertigt.

Meine bisherigen verwendeten Objektive sind: SEL1018 SEL 20F28 SEL 35F18 SEL P18105G Neu hinzugekommen ist jetzt das SEL 24F18Z Im direkten Vergleich zu meinen bisherigen Objektiven bei vergleichbarer Brennweiteneinstellung und identischen Kameraeinstellungen an meiner Alpha 6000, schlägt das Zeiss Objektiv in Farbwiedergabe und Schärfe alle anderen um Längen. Fokusierungsgeschwindigkeit und Präzision ist hervorragend und somit identisch zu den Anderen. Mir fehlt der nicht vorhandene Bildstabilisator des Zeiss Objetives nur in Extremsituationen. Sollte aber dennoch bedacht werden. Abhilfe kann nur eine neue Alpha 7000 mit integrierten Stabilisator bieten (wenn sie denn endlich erscheint) Materialanmutung und Optik entsprechen dem Preis und sind dem Namen ZEISS würdig. Für mich ist es mein neues Lieblingsobjektiv für alle Standardsituationen. Besonders Begeistert hat mich die sehr geringe Naheinstellungsgrenze, die schon Makroniveau hat. Ich kann das Objektiv absolut empfehlen.

Vor 2 Wochen habe ich das Objektiv erhalten und in dieser Zeit schon öfter im Einsatz gehabt. Bis auf die CA's bei Offenblende bin ich von dem Objektiv mehr als begeistert. Gerade auch die Möglichkeit, auf Grund der 16cm Naheinstellgrenze, das Objektiv auch für Makroaufnahmen zu nutzen und somit ein super cremiges Bokeh zu erzeugen, ist schon richtig Klasse! Auch bei Gegenlichtaufnahmen überzeugt mich die Kontrast- und Farbwiedergabe sehr. Einziges kleines und auch verschmerzbares Manko ist der fehlende Optische Bildstabilisator. Würde dieses Objektiv diesen besitzen, dann wäre das Objektiv der absolute Low-Light-Kracher im E-Mount-APS-C System.

J'apprécie sa relativement grande ouverture, le fait qu'il soit piqué même à grande ouverture, sa mise au point à faible distance et sa qualité de fabrication. J'ai longtemps hésité à l'acheter parce que je le trouvais cher par rapport à la concurrence. Ma note tient compte du prix. Est ce que ça a encore un sens d'acheter cet objectif plutôt que le 35 FE et un A7* ? J'ai tranché en faveur du SEL24F18Z parce que j'ai des problèmes de dos. En voyage je peux encore porter toute la journée le 10-18, le 16-50 et le 24. Je fais entre la moitié et les deux tiers de mes photos au 24.

Love is an understatement. Yes, you can take great shots with more the much more affordable 50mm f/1.8. Sure. And I did for about a year. But it kept haunting me. The 24mm (35mm equivalent on APS/C) was just so much more of a walk around lens, but with Sonnar T• Coating, Zeiss sharpness and distortion free edges. You can always get closer, yes with the extra emphasis on your presence. But just be less weird, you know? Smile. Be a part of the moment. This lens makes portraits and macros and medium shots so enjoyable to be a part of. The colors are poppy, the contrast is better, and most important the sharpness is astounding. Yeah, though, there is that doubt with the a7 full frame lenses coming into play, but hey. That makes the APS/C even more affordable. The 24 MP promise is more than enough. Yeah I want full frame. But I feel confident with the affordability of this rig. Basically 2k price range gets you a complete set up. No bullish*t. No extras. And you don't have to worry about putting it on a drone. Just go, man. Go, go, go. But a UV filter on it and don't even think about it. It outperforms everything that costs three times as much and approaches a magical quality without spending all you got. That's worth $999 plus a sensor and body. I love this rig. It fits in my hand and I could shoot almost anything with it. If there was ever one lens fits anything this is it. I think they could make a system out of this that had not interchangeability at all. I still have my lens bumping 1.4 50mm. My 16mm pancake, my 50mm 1.8 OSS, and my 16-70 zoom. I'm not selling any of that stuff. But I'd rather move my feet than swap 80 percent of the time. No lie. This lens is the camera. I will never sell it, and it will be part of everything that is good about my craft from this point on.

I purchased this for my NEX 7 a year ago when there were no rebates. And it has stayed on the camera most of the time. Even when I do switch to a different lens, I cant wait to put this back. Compared to the other lenses I have used - 1855, 55210, 16F28 with Wide Angle this produces great color, is pretty sharp wide open and most importantly the images have character. They feel less electronic compared to the other lenses. Of course, there is a steep cost and the fact that A7R has been released and this lens covers only APS-C area will make me think twice about buying it today. However, I have had a great year shooting with this lens and can't wait to shoot more with the NEX 7.

What can I say, this is my favorite lens. I am a semi-serious amateur photographer with a fairly extensive kit built around an A77. My A mount lenses cover about 99% of anything I would ever want to photograph, including specialized lenses for portraits (Minolta 85mm 1.4) and Macro (Minolta 100mm F2.8 Macro). What my A77 kit does not do well is travel light. I bought a NEX5n for casual use, but was dissappointed in the speed and characteristics of the kit lens, so the Zeiss 24mm was my first E mount lens purchase. What can I say, this is, quite possibly, the best lens I own. For general snap shots, street scenes, travel and group portraits it is the best lens of its type I've ever used, better even than the outstanding Sony 16-50mm F2.8 SSM I use on my A77. Colors somehow pop more, sharpness is perfect across the entire frame from F4, but even wide open 16X20 prints (I've made two) are gorgeous from corner to corner. This is an outstanding landscape lens but for its fairly narrow (full frame equivalent to 36mm) angle of view. I leave this on my NEX5n almost all of the time, and while I own and often will bring the 50mm 1.8 OSS on more casual expeditions, the Zeiss 24 is so good that I even use the NEX5n/Zeiss pair when I'm carrying my A77.

Great lens, makes low light pics possible w/o flash which would spoil the whole atmosphere. Fits in underwater housings designed for the more familiar 18-55mm zoom.

This is a wonderful lens, perfectly sized for Sony NEX 7. It lives up to it's Zeiss heritage showing great color, sharpness, bokeh and great handling. I know some complain of the size or cost, but show me another high speed 24 mm lens for APS cameras that is smaller or considerably cheaper. I think the lens cost is competitive with the competition, though camera prices in general have gotten quite high these past few years. Using proper technique and a good editing program like lightroom 3 or 4, this lens delivers outstanding results, probably best in class (yes, except for the $6,000 german lens). If you have high standards you won't be disappointed.
